but it was a cracker...so Yey!
Master Goodlad finally has his new bass rig up and running and it's a total Beast.
He only had it turned up to 2 and it was making our ears bleed.
I would recommend bringing ear plugs to the next rubber-giggage.

As we have nothing booked in for the rest of the year (other than than the Rubbersnake Christmas booze up, 'natch) we spent yesterday messing around with some songs that we never really got up to "gig standard".
Most notably, we resurectted the Slayer sound-a-like tune that used to have the working title "the one with the whale noise bit thingie in it..you know the one..with the wwwEEEEEOOOOOWWWWEEO bit? Yeah...that's it..."
This song was cracking but always gave us a headache with timings 'n shiz. We just couldn't get it to flow right. It was all Start>Stop>pause while we all think what comes next>Start>Stop...and so on and so forth...
Goes to show what a couple of months away from a tune can do thou as, when we picked it up again yesterday, we nailed it.
And it's a groovey as the Groovey Ghoulies.
and, what's more, the whale noise bit thingie has now been totally erased.
So it's now going to be called "the one that used to have the whale noise bit thingie in it..you know the one..with the wwwEEEEEOOOOOWWWWEEO bit? Yeah...that's it...but it doesn't have it anymore..remember...it has the *stabs* instead...Yeah? then the pick scrape down the neck bit...Then it rocks like a motherlova...THAT'S the bunny..."

Updates will be slim pickings till next year, I imagine..There may, possibly, be a new video or two...there may not.

Okay...so I'm standing outside the Face bar after the last gig and I got bitched at that the rubbersite was well outta date and that I needed to sort it out...
Now...while you readers may have have had a very very valid point....I'd just flippin' come off stage.
So, still revelling in the post-gig high, I forgot aaaall about it.
Until yesterday, that is.
